StepSeqPoly - Quick Start Guide

The Basics

• Press [SPACEBAR] to toggle Play and Stop.
• Click on the grid pads to add or remove notes.
• Use the keyboard keys shown next to drum labels (Q, S, D, F, G, H) to instantly mute/unmute a track.

Polymeter (Last Step)

• Look at the small dot timeline above each grid. Click any dot to change the loop length of that specific track.
• This allows you to mix a 15-step bassline with a 16-step drum beat to create evolving, shifting grooves.

Synth Tools

• NORM: Standard bass/lead note.
• ACC (Accent): Louder note with a brighter filter envelope.
• SLI (Slide): Glides smoothly from the previous note's pitch without retriggering the attack.
• A+S: Both Accent and Slide applied together.
